Hensley Ranch works with local rescues, offering foster care for their horses. We provide care, training, exercise, and advertising to help make each horse more adoptable. We also have horses rescued from neglected and abandoned situations and care for those horses with donated funds.

Jasmine - 7 year old TB mare - $500
Jasmine is a 16Hh bay TB mare. Great ground manners. Leads, ties, fine with grooming. Knows how to lunge and round pen. She is very quiet, calm and friendly. Came from a neglectful home but is blossoming with proper care. She is underweight and need some corrective trimming to get her feet back to normal. Will start under saddle training at the end of January.
Rosie - 33 year old Morab mare - no fee
Rosie is a sweet and loving mare with a great personality. She is still ridable and is used for youth lessons. Good ground manners, gets along with other horses.
Red - 30 year old Arab Gelding - no fee
Red is a fun, energetic gelding looking for a companion horse where he can be spoiled like he deserves. He has fantastic ground manners, great with other horses, and love to be around people. Low maintenance guy, but does need pelleted food.
Sterling - 7 year old OTTB gelding - $1300
Sterling is a lovely guy ready for a loving owner to take him in a new direction. Would make a great trail or arena horse(English or western). He is calm, quiet, A very uncomplicated horse. Consistent W/T/C in the arena, basic collection and frame work. About 15.2Hh, beautiful dapple grey. Went on his first trail ride on 7/9, and acted like an old pro. Did w/t classes at a local schooling show and behaved wonderfully the whole morning. I have started to use him for lessons and he is doing very well being ridden by different riders. Available for lease as well.
